"An eclectic mix of the sacred & profane"
When you talk about a great actor, you're not talking about Tom Cruise.
I've never really given up performing. I've been interested in writing, directing, community arts and recently political and social development.
After years of theatre spanning Educational & experimental theatre, Rep & West End I'm proud to be able to bring theatrical skills to other areas of life and affect positive change in people's lives.
I work closely with a small UK charity Purple Field Productions who make educational films with poorer communities in Africa filming in their native languages (it can take a while). I'm proud to have directed the first ever HIV drama MAWA LANGA (My Tomorrow) which has now been seen by over 3 million people and is regularly used in schools and colleges to discuss issues surrounding HIV/AIDS with young people.

Richard Duning, Artist
In recent years I've worked with arts practitioners to blend theatre and film with photography, poetry, graphic design and music to produce community events that engage and inspire people. I've had the pleasure to work with young people in the UK, USA, Africa and China on diverse projects including Brecht, Pinter, Moliere and Shakespeare.
This is work I love.
My work as a community artist involves working with other performers, artists from a wide variety of arts backgrounds. Photographers, musicians, painters, writers, dancers and media.
I work with young people, old people, community groups, business groups, anywhere the arts can make a difference to people's lives.
WHY NOT? EVERYONE ELSE HAS
HOPEFULLY SOMETHING DIFFERENT...
